Room sets previously available by donation only have been moved to the free sections of the site. They have been added to the bottom of their respective pages.
I have also removed the mailing list. Both of these changes were made to simplify the site so it runs itself. I can't see myself ever doing anymore official updates but as a lot of people still visit daily, I'd like to keep the site itself up.
Hope you all have a wonderful 2007 and as always, than you for your continued support.

Hi guys! It's been a terribly long time I know. I just wanted to assure you that yes, Sims Studio will stay open for now. I can't believe that many people still play Sims 1 but here you are, so here I'll stay. ;-)
I am currently playing an online game called
Second Life which is similar to Sims Online but you can play free if you want. I'm using up all my creative energy there these days and I've opened my own clothing store called Encore. So if you're curious as to what I've been up to and you play Second Life, stop by, take a look and say hi.
Thanks so much for all your support!

Dear Sims Studio Visitors, Part II,
After uploading an announcement that I was going to close the site a couple of weeks ago, I was totally floored by all of the emails I received, from people sorry to see the site close, as well as people offering to host my files on their own site.
I want all of you to know that I appreciate your support sooooo much! So much in fact that I've decided to keep Sims Studio around for awhile longer. I had it in my head that because I hadn't updated with new content in so long that I didn't have anything of value to offer the community anymore but you have shown me differently.
Tonight I purchased a new domain, thesimsstudio.com (I had to add "The" to the front of Sims Studio because some lunkhead already owns simsstudio.com and is trying to charge a small fortune to give it up even though they aren't using it). And I moved the site to a new, much cheaper host.
I want to thank you all again for your support. It really means the world to me.
With that said, feel free to sit back, don't forget to update your bookmarks and enjoy at least another year of "The" Sims Studio.

Dear Sims Studio Visitors,
After thinking about this for quite awhile, I've realized that it's about time to close Sims Studio. I haven't updated in over a year and I haven't actually played the game in nearly three years. I keep installing it hoping that it might get me motivated to start creating again but so far that hasn't happened. I even tried creating for Sims 2 but I really don't have it in me to do much more than recolors and to be honest I think the rest of the Sims community pretty much has that covered. I just don't have the patience/motivation/energy anymore to learn new programs and procedures to create original objects for Sims 2.
So with that said, grab what you want while you can. I'll leave the site up until the hosting expires but after that we're outta here. I can't say for sure when that will be but I'm thinking it will probably be around the first part of next year.
As for life after Sims? I'm not disappearing from the web entirely. You can still catch me at my two other sites,
ScrapFX and
Cliff Simon - The Official Site.
Thank you all so much for your support through the years and for making my Sims experience so much fun. Without those of you downloading the things from my site and using them in your game, creating them wouldn't have been nearly as rewarding. So thanks again and I wish you all nothing but the best!
Take care,
Tracy

Hi guys! Sorry for the terribly long delay. I don't have anything new in the Sims department for you but I wanted to let you know I haven't fallen off the face of the earth. Just been busy with another project, a digital scrapbooking site.
If you happen to be into scrapbooking, check it out:
ScrapFX.

Today we're taking one final trip back to the Mocha collection with a living room,
Mocha Parlour. Getting tired of brown were you? lol
With that said I'd like to let you all know that this will be the final update from Sims Studio for awhile. Right now there is just too much going on in the real world and to be honest I haven't felt like working on stuff for ages. I'm not closing the site, and I'm not saying that there will never be another update. I'm just saying that if there is, it's not going to be anytime soon.
Enjoy the rest of the summer!
